Accounting and Finance Specialist

About the role

Eurofins Scientific is seeking an Accounting and Finance Specialist to join its NSC Turkey Finance team. The role involves managing general accounting, fixed assets, payroll, revenue recognition, tax, and treasury processes while ensuring compliance with local regulations and group policies.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily accounting entries, support month‑end closing, and prepare financial statements.
• Manage fixed assets, depreciation, and cash‑flow monitoring.
• Review contracts for revenue recognition in line with IFRS and process supplier invoices, payments, and expense claims.
• Assist with tax declarations (VAT, withholding, corporate) and support audit documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in general accounting and revenue recognition.
• Knowledge of Turkish tax legislation and basic IFRS.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and team‑oriented communication.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Mikro accounting software (plus).
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
