After Sales Director

About the role

The After Sales Director will lead the service and technical functions for a global machinery manufacturer, ensuring high customer satisfaction and achieving performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Build, lead and develop a high‑performing after‑sales team.
• Manage all service and technical aspects for the full product range.
• Coordinate after‑sales marketing activities and dealer network promotions.
• Administer online marketing tools for the dealer network and uphold retail standards.
• Conduct market research, recommend improvements and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Formulate department budget, operative planning and reporting tools.
• Plan, develop and monitor dealer service and parts network, including standards assessments.
• Handle customer and dealer complaints, ensuring timely resolutions.
• Support after‑sales business development, service sales and marketing.
• Provide training to the retail network and resolve technical problems.

Required profile

• Minimum 15+ years of management experience in a technical field, preferably with direct reports.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Excellent people, time‑management and leadership abilities.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with the ability to work in a team.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
