Boutique Cashier - İstinye Park

About the role

CHANEL is looking for a Cashier for its İstinye Park boutique in Istanbul. The Cashier provides cashier service to clients and reconciles payments against daily sales, while upholding the brand's image and delivering a luxury customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, provide cashier service and product information, and follow the dress code, grooming and conduct guidelines of the CHANEL Charter.
• Handle cash, credit card, check and other payments in local or foreign currencies, and process returns, exchanges, refunds and credit notes according to company policy.
• Reconcile daily transactions, verify opening and closing balances, ensure adequate cash flow at counters and input transaction and client data accurately.
• Consolidate sales, stock movement and customer reports for management and support ad hoc tasks such as gift wrapping.
• Liaise with colleagues, management and CHANEL Head Office, share ideas and maintain good time management and boutique coverage.
• Complete training and take part in meetings; keep company information confidential.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of related experience, including knowledge of operating a cash register.
• University degree is a must.
• Fluent Turkish and English are a must.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work shifts.
• Team player with good communication skills, attention to detail and accuracy in payment handling.
