Budget and Reporting Specialist

About the role

Synevo Laboratories, the laboratory division of Medicover, is looking for a Budget and Reporting Specialist based in Istanbul. The role adds value to financial planning and reporting processes and supports business decisions through financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare annual budgets, periodic forecasts and revised budget plans in line with company objectives.
• Upload budget data into the company's ERP system and Medicover Group reporting infrastructure.
• Analyze monthly, quarterly and annual budget actuals, evaluate variances and report findings to senior management.
• Prepare budget performance analyses by department and cost center.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow and other key financial indicators to produce regular management reports.
• Prepare sales performance reports supported by financial analyses.
• Analyze the cost structure and recommend improvements to efficiency and cost optimization.
• Support the development of internal control mechanisms for budgeting and cost management.
• Coordinate with departments during monthly closing and financial reporting, and prepare and submit financial reports on time in line with Group standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Public Finance or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in budgeting, planning, financial reporting, financial controlling, cost analysis or similar.
• Knowledge of IFRS and the Turkish Uniform Chart of Accounts.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong financial analysis, reporting and data interpretation skills, with analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent planning, organizational and follow-up skills, and strong communication skills in a team.
• Completed military service for male candidates; availability to travel when required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ERP-based accounting and financial systems; Microsoft Dynamics AX experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel and effective use of MS Office applications.
