Design Engineer – Aerospace Components

About the role

Mubea Türkiye Engineering Office, part of the global Mubea Group, is seeking a Design Engineer to develop metal and composite aircraft parts and tooling. The role involves close collaboration with international engineering and manufacturing teams on advanced aerospace projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and modify metal and composite aircraft parts, assemblies, and related tooling.
• Design tooling and jigs, including lamination tools, milling jigs, and other manufacturing aids.
• Perform tolerance analyses for parts, assemblies, and tooling.
• Create 3D models, 2D drawings, bills of materials, ply books, and engineering change documentation in CAD and PDM systems.
• Collaborate with international teams, manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure manufacturable, cost‑effective designs.
• Prepare engineering documentation and participate in design reviews, checks, and release activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
• Experience in mechanical design of parts, assemblies, tooling, molds, and fixtures.
• Good working knowledge of CATIA V5.
• Proficiency in Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Strong command of English for technical communication.
• Structured, proactive work style with responsibility and ability to work in an international team.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
