Director, Customer Acquisition & Engagement, Martech & Automation

About the role

Mastercard’s Marketing Services division is looking for a senior leader to drive customer acquisition and engagement through advanced Martech and automation solutions. Based in Istanbul, the Director will shape and execute data‑driven, lifecycle‑focused campaigns that grow card portfolios and enhance Mastercard preference.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, technology‑enabled marketing solutions, including B2B2C product packages that integrate data & services and MarTech capabilities.
• Define and launch digital and CRM‑driven go‑to‑market strategies for spend‑optimization campaigns (activation, retention, e‑commerce, cross‑border, merchant partnerships).
• Support P&L management for EEMEA Marketing Services spend‑optimization, tracking revenue, margin and expense KPIs.
• Collaborate with product, sales and business‑development teams to create data‑driven lifecycle campaign strategies and pricing models, including pay‑for‑performance options.
• Develop automated lifecycle management approaches using CRM, marketing automation and personalization tools.
• Partner with technology providers to deliver omnichannel campaign automation and act as a trusted advisor on MarTech platforms.
• Monitor issuer KPIs, conduct competitive analysis and recommend actions to improve portfolio performance.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in marketing, product management, CRM, consulting or digital transformation, preferably within financial services or payments.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth through data‑driven marketing and automation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of card portfolio growth drivers and key performance indicators.
