Manufacturing Programs Leader – Hybrid

About the role

The Manufacturing Programs Leader will drive GE Aerospace’s Flight Deck lean operating system, manage complex manufacturing issues and ensure on‑time delivery of new technologies across engine and component programs.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain part lists and manufacturing readiness actions aligned to hardware need dates.
• Establish operating rhythm across Engineering and Sourcing to track execution and mitigate risks.
• Lead cross‑functional program operations reviews, coordinating Manufacturing, Sourcing, Quality, Materials and Engineering.
• Monitor SQDC performance, lead problem‑solving for scrap, rework, shortages and capacity bottlenecks.
• Define manufacturing strategy and roadmap, including automation, footprint and technology deployment.

Required profile

• Strong manufacturing and program leadership experience in a regulated industry (aerospace, defense, automotive or medical devices).
• Proven ability to align cross‑functional teams, manage program risks and translate requirements into executable plans.
• Experience with new‑product introduction, rate ramps and configuration changes.

Required skills

• Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and product definition.
• Mechanical design review and drawing interpretation.
• Familiarity with GE Aerospace quality system and aerospace manufacturing specifications.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous‑improvement methodologies (Flight Deck).
