Production Manager – Food Industry

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations for a global partner in the food sector. The role focuses on safety, efficiency, quality and cost optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all production operations ensuring safe, efficient and reliable manufacturing while meeting business objectives.
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and food‑safety standards.
• Deliver production plans by meeting targets for output, service level, productivity, OEE and factory reliability.
• Maintain product quality through GMP, HACCP and regulatory compliance, and manage root‑cause analysis.
• Optimize manufacturing costs by managing labor, waste, utilities and resources.
• Collaborate with Planning, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement and R&D on production plans and new projects.
• Ensure equipment availability and asset reliability together with Maintenance.
• Lead readiness for new product introductions, process changes and capacity expansions.
• Manage production budgets, workforce planning and resource allocation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 8–10 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong planning, organizational and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 22000 management systems.
• Good understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Strong knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety requirements and practices.
