Protection & Resilience and OHS Local Officer

About the role

The Protection & Resilience and Occupational Health and Safety Officer will design, implement and continuously improve resilience and health‑and‑safety frameworks for the entity, ensuring compliance, preparedness, response and recovery from disruptive events.

Key responsibilities

• Assess hazards and risks related to safety, health and mental health, including baseline and job‑specific assessments, contractor management and psycho‑social risk analysis.
• Coordinate between global business owners, risk & compliance, IT/ISOs, HR, facilities, security, third‑party providers and crisis management teams.
• Maintain and enhance the crisis management framework and define emergency response procedures.
• Act as focal point for incident identification, escalation and coordination.
• Steer and monitor outsourcing and third‑party risk management activities across the business unit.
• Deliver audit‑ready OHS documentation, schedule trainings and maintain health‑and‑safety records.

Required profile

• Degree in Risk, Internal Control, Operations, Security, Health & Safety or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in protection & resilience, operational resilience or workplace safety.
• Strong knowledge of operational resilience and workplace safety practices.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Business Continuity Management standards (e.g., ISO 22301, CBCI).
• Occupational Health and Safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
