Senior Equipment Sales Engineer - HVAC

About the role

Trane Technologies is hiring a Senior Equipment Sales Engineer in the Marmara region of Turkey, working on-site (5 days a week) in Istanbul. The role focuses on building owner accounts: developing trusting customer relationships, growing account share and retaining customers while delivering value-driven HVAC solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide knowledge and consultation by developing HVAC system solutions for customer problems, including financial and performance considerations.
• Identify customer needs and current market opportunities, and use the company's sales tools to track and report results to your manager.
• Develop and run an account-specific business plan to build a strong, profitable partnership.
• Help customers answer technical questions on HVAC systems, Trane products and industry issues.
• Travel to customer job sites, which may involve outdoor work, mechanical/equipment rooms, variable weather, heights and other site conditions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, engineering technology or equivalent from a four-year university preferred, or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience selling HVAC systems in Turkey / the Marmara region.
• Experience working with designers and consultants, and a solid technical understanding of HVAC applications.
• Minimum B2 level of spoken English and strong verbal communication in English and Turkish.
• Valid driver's license and active driving experience.

Required skills

• Solid working knowledge of HVAC systems, especially heat pumps, chillers and rooftop units.
• Knowledge of service agreements.
