Shift Leader – Process & Manufacturing Team Lead

About the role

The Shift Leader is responsible for overseeing daily operations on a medium/small pharmaceutical production site. This role combines process leadership, technical expertise, and safety oversight to ensure efficient, compliant manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the process team, manage resource planning, and conduct daily walkthroughs to align production workload with schedules.
• Act as senior process expert, providing front‑line support, SME knowledge, and ensuring compliance with GMP, SSE and 5S standards.
• Define user requirements, design electronic batch records, and oversee manufacturing system qualification and CSV compliance.
• Deliver technical training programs using various methodologies and maintain internal auditor certifications.
• Ensure HSE and quality conformity, manage business continuity, and handle technical complaints and adverse events within required timelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, including HSE and GMP compliance.
• Strong leadership skills to coordinate cross‑functional teams and drive continuous improvement.
