Technical Support Engineer for Metro Railway

About the role

You will join Wabtec's regional Technical Support and Field Services team, acting as the main technical interface for Metro/Public Railway customers in Turkey. The role combines on‑site support, customer relationship management and technical expertise to ensure high‑quality service and satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical contact for local Metro/Public Railway customers, handling field service, maintenance and operational queries.
• Maintain regular communication and on‑site visits to strengthen customer relationships and monitor product performance.
• Provide technical recommendations to support sales activities and generate new leads.
• Collaborate with Wabtec Field Services and SISCO Engineering to resolve technical issues, claims and warranty matters.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and support the preparation of customer offers in line with Wabtec guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electro‑Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product engineering, systems maintenance or technical support of complex railway solutions.
• Fluent in Turkish and English, with willingness to travel regularly between cities.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset, ownership and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience using ERP systems.
