About the role
We are looking for a dynamic Vice President to lead our Specialist Sales team for Small and Medium Enterprises across Eastern Europe. The role will shape Mastercard’s sales strategy, drive adoption of innovative payment solutions and support fintechs and large issuing banks in serving their SME customers.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with Mastercard’s Eastern Europe objectives.
- Lead and mentor a high‑performing team of 4+ sales professionals, managing performance and career development.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to identify market opportunities and drive revenue growth.
- Build and maintain executive‑level relationships with key clients and partners, representing Mastercard at industry events.
- Create differentiated value propositions and strategic account plans for fintechs and large issuing banks.
- Drive adoption of Mastercard’s payment solutions for SME customers and develop compelling business cases.
Required profile
- Proven senior leadership experience in sales, preferably within the payments or financial services industry.
- Deep understanding of the SME market and the needs of fintechs and large issuing banks in Eastern Europe.
- Strong strategic thinking with a track record of delivering revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and executive‑level relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to coach, mentor and develop a sales team.
