Website Lead – Drive Conversion and Growth

About the role

As the Website Lead at bunq, you will own the entire website experience from strategy through execution, turning visitors into loyal users and supporting the company’s fintech growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the website strategy, covering technical SEO, conversion optimisation, content roadmap and mobile‑first UX.
• Lead performance optimisation, run A/B tests, analyse conversion funnels and improve KPIs such as speed, engagement and conversion rate.
• Own the tech stack and roadmap, ensuring scalability, accessibility, mobile performance and core web vitals.
• Conduct a conversion‑funnel audit and implement quick‑win improvements for sign‑up rates.
• Overhaul mobile UX and launch an AI‑powered, personalised content strategy.

Required profile

• Proven track record building and optimising high‑traffic, conversion‑focused websites.
• Strong data‑driven mindset: design experiments, interpret analytics (GA4, Looker) and make decisions based on data.
• Product thinking with an understanding of user psychology and collaborative work with design, content and product teams.
• Fluent in English; multilingual is a plus for multi‑market operations.
