Clinical Project Manager – Oncology

About the role

The Clinical Project Manager will lead oncology clinical studies for IQVIA Biotech, ensuring timely delivery, high quality, and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. This role combines therapeutic expertise with IQVIA’s suite of solutions to drive operational excellence and strategic leadership for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in bid defense presentations and may lead presentations for smaller regional studies.
• Develop integrated study management plans with the core project team.
• Execute assigned portions of clinical studies, optimizing speed, quality, and cost while adhering to SOPs and policies.
• Set objectives for the core team, communicate expectations, and assess performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional groups to support milestone achievement and resolve study issues.
• Monitor contract progress, prepare and present project updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactively manage risks, lead problem‑solving efforts, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain primary or backup contact with the customer, managing the relationship and coordinating with business development as needed.
• Build and lead the cross‑functional project team, ensuring overall project delivery.
• Forecast financial performance, identify revenue acceleration opportunities, and manage scope changes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in clinical project management, preferably in oncology or biotech.
• Strong therapeutic knowledge and ability to apply it to study execution.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive results under tight timelines.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on risk management and quality assurance.
