Finance Director

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Director to lead the strategic management, reporting, and optimisation of all financial and fiscal processes, providing the Board with a clear financial vision and supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial feasibility studies and profitability analyses for investment projects.
• Identify financing requirements and manage processes with banks, investment funds, development banks, and international financial institutions.
• Evaluate project, debt, equity, and alternative financing models.
• Prepare and manage cash‑flow forecasts, budgets, and financial projections.
• Analyse foreign‑exchange, interest‑rate, country, liquidity and other financial risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Monitor taxation, accounting, capital transfer and regulatory requirements across investment locations.
• Coordinate with legal, tax, audit and advisory firms.
• Conduct financial due diligence and valuation for M&A and partnership transactions.
• Monitor investment performance and report to senior management, the Board and investors.
• Oversee financial control and consolidation of international subsidiaries, ensuring effective coordination between overseas operations and the head office.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Public Finance, Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering or related field; MBA or Master’s in Finance preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant qualification (SMMM); international certifications such as CFA or CMA preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Over 20 years of proven experience managing financial feasibility, financing, budgeting, cash flow, risk management and reporting for domestic and international investments.
• Strong experience managing relationships with domestic and international banks, investment funds, development banks and financial institutions.
