Global Principal Training & Education Specialist – Structural Heart

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a Global Principal Training & Education Specialist to lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of commercial and clinical training programs for Structural Heart therapies worldwide. This remote position partners with sales, marketing, medical education, and regional training teams to ensure consistent, high‑quality learning experiences that drive product adoption and clinical competency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy global training curricula for Structural Heart products in collaboration with Learning Design and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Standardize training delivery across markets while allowing regional customization to meet local business needs.
• Partner with Global and Regional Sales Training, Marketing, Medical Education, and Commercial Leadership to identify capability gaps and create targeted learning solutions.
• Lead Train‑the‑Trainer initiatives and support regional teams in effective program delivery.
• Support new product launches by creating training plans, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring field readiness.
• Maintain and continuously improve training content to align with product, clinical, and commercial strategies.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing across regions to promote best‑practice adoption and consistency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of experience.
• Proven background in sales, clinical training, sales training, or medical education within the medical device or healthcare industry.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively with global and regional stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 50 % of the time.
