Hotel Cook – Full‑time

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our hotel kitchen in Izmir. The successful candidate will work full‑time preparing and cooking a variety of dishes while upholding our high standards of quality, safety and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, peeling and measuring according to recipes.
• Cook hot and cold dishes, operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers, and test foods for doneness.
• Maintain food quality and presentation standards, and ensure correct portioning.
• Set up and break down the work station, clean and disinfect kitchen areas, tools and equipment.
• Monitor and record appliance and food temperatures, and follow all safety and hygiene policies.
• Support team members, communicate professionally and uphold a clean, uniform appearance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• At least one year of experience in a commercial kitchen or similar food‑service environment.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 lb.

Required skills

• Operation of ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
• Food preparation techniques including chopping, portioning and measuring.
