ICT Associate

About the role

The ICT Associate will support the daily IT operations of the IOM Istanbul Office and its field locations, ensuring reliable technology services for staff and partners. Reporting to the Senior Resource Management Officer and the Senior IT Assistant, the role combines hands‑on technical support with network administration.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite end‑user support, responding to queries via email, phone or in person.
• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including Cisco Meraki routers, ASA firewalls, access points and switches.
• Monitor LAN/WAN performance, perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Set up, upgrade and service desktops, laptops and related software (Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2008‑2019, MS Office 2013/2016, Office 365, in‑house applications).
• Implement and manage security measures such as antivirus protection and email/Internet access controls.
• Maintain the PABX telecommunication system, call‑tracking tools and monthly call billing.
• Develop and deliver user training for new and existing systems.
• Maintain IT inventory, documentation, network diagrams and ensure compliance with IOM standards.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in IT support and network administration.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
