Lead Supply Chain Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Supply Chain Engineer to manage procurement, inventory and material flow for critical components at our Gebze plant. You will ensure the right cost, timing and quality while maintaining optimal stock levels and supporting cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and control procurement of critical materials, creating requisitions and purchase orders.
• Maintain material master data, planning calendars and location information for MRP activities.
• Lead Material Review Board meetings and communicate outcomes to finance, engineering, sales and plant stakeholders.
• Drive inventory accuracy, excess/obsolete material elimination and optimize storage space.
• Implement Kanban and VMI processes to achieve target days‑on‑hand.
• Oversee daily cycle‑counting and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Monitor order status, ensure on‑time deliveries and coordinate quality inspections.
• Develop supplier relationships, evaluate performance and address supply issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Material & Metallurgical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in material management, supply chain or procurement.
• Fluent in English and Turkish.
• Willingness to work on‑site at the Gebze plant.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced MS Office Suite skills.
• Knowledge of Kanban and Vendor‑Managed Inventory (VMI) tools.
• Experience with cycle counting procedures.
