Legal Counsel – Corporate Law & Litigation

About the role

The Legal Counsel will support Bupa Acıbadem Sigorta by providing proactive, business‑focused legal advice and managing litigation matters. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external law firms to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with Turkish and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and advise business units accordingly.
• Manage and oversee litigation and dispute matters handled by external law firms, including case strategy, deadlines and outcomes.
• Prepare and follow up on court writs, garnishment orders, and other enforcement‑related documents.
• Handle responses to Consumer Arbitration Committees and legal notices.
• Maintain a litigation portfolio, reporting material cases, legal risks and potential financial exposure.
• Support data protection and privacy compliance, including data subject requests and privacy notices.
• Provide practical legal advice to internal stakeholders and proactively identify risk mitigation measures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law from a reputable faculty (master’s degree is an asset).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in legal departments or consultancy law firms.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of litigation and privacy matters.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
