About the role
Doğan Holding is looking for a Legal Trainee who has recently started their bar internship to join its Legal Department. The role sits within the 6-month lawyer-supervised part of the Turkish bar internship.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Legal Department in day-to-day legal matters
- Assist in tracking litigation and enforcement files and handle UYAP procedures
- Help draft and review contracts and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and report findings
- Carry out procedures at courthouses, enforcement offices and notaries when needed
Required profile
- Law school graduate with a strong academic background
- Currently in the first 3 months of the bar internship (avukatlık stajı)
- Willing to complete the 6-month lawyer-supervised internship at the Legal Department
- Previous summer internship at law firms and/or in-house legal departments is a plus
- Good command of English is a plus
Required skills
- Able to conduct extensive legal research, including Court of Cassation (Yargıtay) decisions and legislation
- Proficient in UYAP and MS Office
- Strong written and verbal communication, organization, teamwork and learning agility
