Logistics & Distribution Manager

About the role

Servet is seeking an experienced Logistics & Distribution Manager to lead warehouse, inventory, transportation and distribution operations as the company expands its manufacturing and sales network. The role ensures products are stored, managed and delivered accurately, on time, with the correct shelf life, and in compliance with customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end inventory operations across factory, company and third‑party warehouses, ensuring continuous accuracy and reconciliation with ERP records.
• Implement FIFO/FEFO principles, monitor expiry dates, and coordinate actions for products approaching their shelf life.
• Plan and execute daily, weekly and periodic distribution to national and regional retail chains, wholesalers and company stores, meeting customer‑specific delivery windows and appointment requirements.
• Optimize transportation using company‑owned vehicles and third‑party providers, improving vehicle utilization, routing and cost efficiency.
• Oversee performance of external warehouses, ensuring compliance with inventory, expiry‑date and handling standards.
• Maintain logistics processes through ERP/WMS systems, develop systematic workflows, and reduce manual interventions.
• Monitor key logistics KPIs such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rate, on‑time delivery and logistics costs, providing regular management reporting.
• Lead warehouse and distribution teams, handling workforce planning, task allocation and performance follow‑up.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, distribution and/or transportation operations, preferably in food or FMCG logistics.
• At least 3 years of experience managing teams and operational processes.
• Proven track record delivering to national or regional retail chains and handling retail‑specific order and delivery requirements.
• Strong knowledge of expiry‑date management, batch/lot traceability, FIFO/FEFO and food safety compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with factory, external and inter‑warehouse transfers.
• Extensive experience in transportation planning, vehicle utilization and route optimization.
• Deep familiarity with ERP and WMS systems, including implementation or digitalisation projects.
• Advanced Excel and operational reporting skills, with a data‑driven approach to KPI management.
