Logistics Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Manager to lead the logistics operations of our international investment projects, coordinating the movement of large‑scale industrial equipment across sea, air and land. The role is based at our headquarters in Altınova, Yalova, Turkey, and requires frequent international travel.

Key responsibilities

• Manage logistics operations for worldwide investment projects, ensuring timely, cost‑effective delivery of products.
• Coordinate receiving, warehousing, distribution and transportation of materials, equipment and supplies.
• Oversee transportation and customs operations, guaranteeing safety and compliance with specifications.
• Work closely with technical departments and project teams to identify needs and resolve issues.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures and operational excellence standards.
• Identify and implement logistics value‑chain improvements and cross‑border solutions.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and facilitate conflict resolution.
• Maintain compliance with local and international laws, regulations, customs and duties.
• Build and sustain relationships with internal and external partners.
• Monitor departmental KPIs, report results and take corrective actions as needed.
• Manage contracts with logistics service providers and keep procedures up to date.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marine Engineering, Business, Economics or related field; master’s in Supply Chain Management or Logistics is preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in sea‑air‑land project transportation, foreign trade and customs clearance in an international logistics environment.
• At least 5 years of leadership or management experience.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); additional language relevant to operating regions is a plus.
• Ability to travel frequently abroad and completed military service for male applicants.

• Project cargo, breakbulk and heavy‑lift logistics for large‑scale industrial equipment.
• Breakbulk vessel chartering/hiring.
• Vendor selection and contract negotiation.
• Handling of L/C transactions and various payment and delivery terms.
• Proficiency with SAP MM module and Microsoft Office suite.
