Networking & IoT Engineer

About the role

Teltonika's Networking Solutions business unit develops and manufactures industrial and enterprise connectivity equipment such as routers, switches, gateways and modems, serving Industry 4.0, Smart City and Green Energy markets. It is looking for a Networking & IoT Engineer to join its global technical support team in Istanbul, Turkey, on site. The team supports remote offices across regions, and there is no remote working option.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers, partners and integrators using Teltonika Networks products, communicating with them and the remote support team through a ticketing platform and live online meetings.
• Resolve technical issues caused by customer configuration, firmware or software independently.
• Prepare documentation for internal and external use, such as the Teltonika Wiki.
• Work with headquarters in Lithuania, the Networks R&D department and other teams on complex technical challenges.
• Collect customer feedback and help improve products and services.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of networking principles and technologies.
• About 2 years of experience in technical support, network engineering, pre-sales or a similar role; 2nd or 3rd line support experience is an advantage.
• Technical or engineering education in networking, telecommunications, IT, electronics or a related field.
• Fluent written and spoken English, customer-oriented and able to write clear technical documentation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in an international setting.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with Linux-based operating systems, industrial protocols, networking services and protocols, and occasional third-party peripherals.
• CCNA or similar certification is an advantage.
