Purchasing Executive

About the role

The Purchasing Executive will lead the procurement function for an automotive supplier, ensuring efficient purchasing operations and strong supplier relationships. This senior role involves strategic sourcing, price negotiations, and continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end purchasing operations, including order management and supplier performance monitoring.
• Develop and maintain relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
• Lead price negotiations and conduct cost analyses to support forecasting.
• Monitor purchasing activities through ERP systems and drive process‑improvement initiatives.
• Participate in projects aimed at optimizing inventory and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years of purchasing experience in the automotive industry.
• Recent team‑management experience.
• Strong analytical, reporting and data‑analysis capabilities.
• Proficiency in English is an advantage.

Required skills

• ERP systems proficiency.
• Experience with demand‑forecasting tools, preferably Slimstock.
