Purchasing Specialist – Flavor Raw Materials

About the role

Seluz is seeking an experienced Purchasing Specialist to manage the procurement of raw materials used in flavor production. You will coordinate with both local and international suppliers to ensure timely delivery and maintain optimal inventory levels.

Key responsibilities

• Create and follow up purchase orders in line with MRP and material requirement plans.
• Manage order confirmation, lead times, shipment and delivery processes with suppliers.
• Monitor inventory, open purchase orders and critical raw material requirements, taking action on delays or shortages.
• Coordinate import, logistics and purchasing documentation.
• Maintain accurate order, price, lead time and supplier data in the ERP system.
• Prepare regular reports on purchase orders, deliveries and supplier performance for senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in raw material purchasing, preferably in flavor, food, food ingredients or chemical industries.
• Experience managing purchasing operations with local and international suppliers.
• Familiarity with import operations and international shipment processes.
• Strong follow‑up, coordination, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
