Purchasing Specialist – Fragrance Raw Materials

About the role

Seluz is seeking an experienced Purchasing Specialist to manage the procurement of raw materials used in fragrance production. Reporting to the Category Manager, you will ensure timely supply of essential oils and other natural ingredients.

Key responsibilities

• Create and follow up purchase orders in line with MRP and material requirement plans.
• Manage order confirmation, lead times, shipment and delivery with local and international suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels, open purchase orders and critical raw material requirements.
• Take operational actions to resolve delays, shortages or supply issues.
• Maintain accurate order, price, lead‑time and supplier data in the ERP system.
• Collaborate with Quality, Planning, Warehouse, Import and Logistics teams.
• Prepare regular reports on purchase orders, deliveries and supplier performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in raw material purchasing.
• Background in fragrance, flavor, cosmetics or chemical industries preferred.
• Experience with natural raw materials, especially essential oils.
• Familiarity with international suppliers, import operations and shipment processes.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Excellent coordination, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
