Sales Force Effectiveness Specialist

About the role

The Animal Health Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) team at MSD drives data‑based insights to improve customer engagement and business performance. As a Sales Force Effectiveness Specialist you will manage commercial data, produce analytical reports and support CRM operations for all Business Units in Turkey.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market, competitor, sales and ad‑hoc analyses to support Business Unit decisions.
• Manage and continuously optimise in‑market sales reporting processes, including automation and system maintenance.
• Deliver monthly field‑force performance reports, commercial analyses and free‑goods/rebate calculations.
• Integrate, cleanse, transform and model data from multiple sources to create reliable datasets for reporting and analytics.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions for monitoring complex commercial data.
• Oversee Salesforce CRM processes, data quality, system adoption and user support across Turkey.
• Assist Business Units with territory alignment, target setting, segmentation, call planning and incentive calculations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, statistics, econometrics, mathematics, economics or a related field.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Turkish.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales Force Effectiveness, sales analysis or a similar role, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven ability to consolidate and analyse large datasets using statistical methods and data profiling.

Required skills

• Data engineering and modelling experience with ETL workflows and databases such as Redshift and Snowflake.
• Programming skills in SQL and Python.
• Proficiency in Power BI for data modelling, dashboard development and visualisation.
• Experience with Power Automate for workflow automation.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office applications.
