Security Officer – Loss Prevention & Security

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to protect our property, guests, and assets. You will patrol all areas, monitor safety systems, and respond swiftly to emergencies while delivering courteous service.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol the premises, assist guests with room access, and lock entrances as needed.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and fire‑life‑safety systems.
• Conduct daily hazard inspections and respond to accidents, providing first aid/CPR or contacting EMS.
• Handle guest or employee disturbances, escort unwelcome persons, and coordinate outside assistance when required.
• Document all incidents, complete shift summaries, and maintain confidentiality of reports.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties.
• Follow company policies, report unsafe conditions, and ensure professional appearance.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk or run for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb (75 lb with assistance).
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• First‑aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to safety protocols.
