Senior AI/LLM Data Scientist in Agentic AI

About the role

As a Senior AI/LLM Data Scientist in Agentic AI at ING, you will design, build, and deploy AI agents and intelligent workflows powered by large language models. You will collaborate with product leads, engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to turn emerging AI capabilities into scalable solutions that deliver measurable business value.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI agents that interact with tools, APIs, databases, and business applications.
• Design multi‑agent workflows for complex reasoning, decision‑making, and retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) architectures.
• Implement evaluation, monitoring, governance, and reliability frameworks for AI solutions in a regulated financial environment.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, NLP, generative AI or related fields.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience delivering production‑ready code.
• Proven ability to build and deploy production‑grade AI applications, especially LLM‑based solutions.
