Senior Consultant – Risk Consulting (Ankara)

About the role

EY Turkey is looking for a Senior Consultant to join its Risk Consulting team in Ankara. You will work on risk‑based internal audit engagements and help clients improve their internal control, enterprise risk management and overall governance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and deliver risk‑based internal audit engagements and other risk‑related projects such as internal control and enterprise risk management.
• Collaborate with team members, maintain clear communication and keep senior staff updated on progress.
• Prepare reports and schedules for clients and regulators.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with both team and client personnel.
• Conduct consulting and audit activities in line with SOX, COBIT, ISO standards and the COSO framework.
• Design, optimise and implement business‑process improvements for clients.
• Perform control design and testing for business processes (credit, deposit, treasury, accounting, financial reporting, payment systems, payroll, etc.) and ITGC (access, change and operations management).

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in audit, internal audit, IT audit, internal control or risk management.
• Previous consulting experience with a Big 4 firm, audit firm or large global institution is a plus.
• Familiarity with risk‑based auditing and risk‑control strategies.
• Good understanding of local and international regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical abilities.
