Supplier Management Specialist / Senior Specialist

About the role

The company is looking for a Supplier Management Specialist or Senior Specialist to play an active part in its supply chain processes. The role covers supplier pre-assessment, performance management and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out supplier pre-assessment and registration, keeping application documents accurate and up to date
• Check compliance with legal requirements, company procedures and quality standards, and follow up on incomplete or non-compliant applications
• Evaluate supplier performance periodically, prepare reports and follow up on improvement plans
• Keep performance criteria up to date and contribute to life cycle analysis
• Coordinate supplier selection and evaluation with other departments
• Manage supplier relationships and develop continuous improvement proposals for supplier management
• Stay up to date on ethical procurement, sustainability, API Q1 / Q2 standards and legal regulations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in procurement, supplier management or supply chain
• Experience in supplier pre-assessment, registration and performance management
• Knowledge of compliance management with procedures and legislation
• Good command of English

• ERP systems, preferably SAP MM, SAP MDG and SAP Ariba
• Analytical thinking, problem solving and reporting
