Site Security Manager

About the role

The Site Security Manager leads all security activities for a pharmaceutical manufacturing site, acting as the primary security partner to site leadership and ensuring a safe, compliant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall security activities for the manufacturing site and act as primary security partner to site leadership.
• Develop and maintain a risk‑based security programme aligned with global and regional standards.
• Conduct security risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation actions.
• Oversee the contracted security guard force, ensuring performance, training and compliance.
• Manage physical security measures including access control, CCTV, perimeter protection and visitor management.
• Lead response to security incidents, coordinate investigations and ensure corrective actions.
• Protect pharmaceutical products, raw materials and critical equipment from theft, diversion and counter‑feiting.
• Provide security leadership during emergencies, major incidents and crisis situations.

Required profile

• Degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Law Enforcement, Military or related field; recognized security qualification preferred.
• Significant experience in site or corporate security management, preferably in a multinational pharmaceutical or life‑science environment.
• Experience managing security guard forces and contractors.
• Fluency in Turkish and English.
• Experience with GMP‑regulated manufacturing environments is a plus.
