About the role
Cencora is seeking a driver to execute pickup and delivery activities for assigned shipments, ensuring timely and compliant transport of materials, products, and medical samples.
Key responsibilities
- Execute pickup and delivery tasks according to timing, handling, and documentation requirements.
- Verify shipment details, obtain required signatures or proof of delivery, and maintain accurate transport records.
- Transport items following route plans, temperature controls, and relevant transportation regulations.
- Communicate delivery status, delays, and exceptions to support issue resolution.
- Support loading, unloading, packaging, and labeling to protect shipment integrity.
- Monitor vehicle condition and packaging supplies, escalating maintenance or stock shortages as needed.
Required profile
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- Less than 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, courier operations, or related field.
Required skills
- Certification in dangerous goods awareness.
- Licensure for the applicable vehicle class.
- Cold chain handling certification or equivalent.
