About the role
Execute pickup and delivery activities for assigned shipments, ensuring proper handling, documentation, and timely delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Verify shipment details, secure required signatures or proof of delivery, and maintain accurate transport records.
- Transport materials, products, and medical samples according to route plans, temperature controls, and transportation regulations.
- Communicate delivery status, delays, and exceptions to support timely issue resolution.
- Support loading, unloading, packaging, and labeling activities to protect shipment integrity.
- Monitor vehicle condition and packaging supply levels, escalating maintenance or stock shortages.
- Provide support for specialized transport activities such as transfer‑point, airport, hand‑to‑hand, and adjusted schedule assignments.
Required profile
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- Less than 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, courier operations, delivery services, or a related field.
Required skills
- Certification in dangerous goods awareness.
- Licensure for operation of the applicable vehicle class.
- Cold chain handling certification or equivalent.
