Marketing Lead (Rare Disease)

About the role

Roche is looking for a Marketing Lead to report to the Head of Customer Engagement & Marketing Chapter and lead the Rare Disease area in Istanbul. The role creates value for patients, the business, external stakeholders and health systems by working with patient journey partners (PJPs), healthcare system partners (HSPs) and other cross-functional enablers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop marketing strategies for therapeutic areas, working cross-functionally with Medical and Access Leads
• Build and implement an omnichannel engagement plan, collaborating with the Digital team
• Ensure continuous sales and logistics forecasting with PJPs and Finance
• Translate scientific data into commercial implications and make strategic recommendations
• For new launches, define pricing, distribution channels and sales strategies with Access and Launch Excellence Leads, and monitor budget and expenditures
• Take part in national and international congresses and scientific meetings
• Support PJPs in implementing projects and collaborate with global networks and affiliates
• Prepare and update training materials for customer engagement teams and other lead roles
• Work with the communication department on mar-com strategies and local therapeutic area messages and content

Required profile

• Strong entrepreneurial, growth and system-thinking mindset, with integrity and a collaborative approach
• Ability to build relationships, work in project teams and influence internal members and stakeholders
• Experience in the rare disease therapeutic area is preferred

Required skills

• Digital literacy and an overview of digital solutions supporting patients
• Proficiency in English and Turkish
• Minimum 5 years of proven marketing experience is highly desirable
