Mechanic – Property Vehicle Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Mechanic to support the daily operation of property vehicles at our Istanbul location. You will ensure that engineering trucks, shuttle vans, and electric carts remain safe, functional, and ready for use.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil and fluid checks, tire pressure and wear inspections, battery charging, and spark‑plug replacement.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, cleaning and lubricating as needed.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of parts and supplies, requisitioning items when required.
• Log daily operation, maintenance, and safety activities, documenting test results, instrument readings, and any equipment malfunctions.
• Follow all company safety policies, report hazards or incidents, complete required safety training, and store flammable materials properly.
• Uphold a professional appearance, protect company assets, and handle confidential information responsibly.
• Assist with physical tasks such as moving, lifting, and positioning objects up to 50 lb.
• Perform additional duties as directed by supervisors.

Required profile

• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in vehicle or equipment maintenance.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain detailed records.

Required skills

• Vehicle maintenance (oil, fluids, tires, batteries, spark plugs).
• Tool cleaning and lubrication.
• Inventory management and parts requisition.
• Maintenance logging and documentation.
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver items up to 50 lb.
