Electrician I – Maintenance & Installation

About the role

The Electrician I will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment across our Istanbul hotel. This full‑time position ensures safe, reliable operation of all electrical assets while adhering to national and local codes.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning electrical tools, systems, and components.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components; use testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
• Plan layout and installation of wiring and fixtures based on job specifications, the National Electric Code, and local regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to guide installations and repairs.
• Respond to repair requests, perform preventative maintenance, and manage inventory of parts and supplies.
• Follow all company safety policies, report hazards, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

Required profile

• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree in electrical work.
• Minimum 2 years of related electrical experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift objects up to 10 lb and perform fine‑motor tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Use of testing equipment: ohmmeter, voltmeter, oscilloscope.
• Blueprint and schematic reading.
• Knowledge of National Electric Code and local electrical codes.
• Installation and maintenance of electrical wiring, circuit breakers, and transformers.
• Preventative maintenance and inventory management.
