Online Commercial Specialist

About the role

DeFacto is seeking an Online Commercial Specialist to lead the performance of the Kids & Baby category across its e‑commerce platforms. You will be responsible for driving revenue, margin and conversion through data‑driven merchandising, content, and campaign management.

Key responsibilities

• Track, analyse and own all financial and sales metrics for the Kids & Baby category, producing weekly, monthly and seasonal performance reports.
• Coordinate with Product Planning to manage launch calendars, stock levels and critical stock requests.
• Maintain on‑site ranking rules, optimise search and filtering, and manage homepage, category and navigation content on DeFacto.com and the DeFacto app.
• Partner with Creative to publish imagery, banners and product content; design and analyse A/B tests to improve conversion rates.
• Develop end‑to‑end seasonal campaign strategies (Back to School, Holidays, etc.) and plan communication calendars with the CRM team.
• Monitor and optimise digital marketing performance (ROAS, traffic, CAC) together with the Marketing team.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in e‑commerce and category management, preferably in apparel/fashion.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Administrative Sciences, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Strong communication and project coordination skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Deep knowledge of Kids & Baby market dynamics, trends and consumer behaviour.

Required skills

• Proficiency in data analytics and key e‑commerce metrics (GA4, revenue, CR, AOV, ROAS, margin).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with e‑commerce analytics tools and on‑site merchandising platforms.
• Ability to design and interpret A/B tests.
