Production Planning Specialist – Manufacturing

About the role

Siemens Türkiye is seeking a Production Planning Specialist to join its technology‑driven manufacturing environment. The role supports operational excellence by creating, monitoring and adjusting production plans, managing inventory, and collaborating across functions.

Key responsibilities

• Create, implement and adjust production plans aligned with business requirements.
• Manage inventory levels and support stock optimisation initiatives.
• Contribute to sales forecasting and demand planning to improve accuracy.
• Analyse production and supply‑chain data, prepare KPI reports and share insights.
• Identify supply, production and demand risks and assist in mitigation planning.
• Collaborate with Production, Sales, Logistics, Purchasing, Finance, Quality and other teams.
• Participate in Lean, Kaizen and digitalisation projects to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Professional experience in production planning, supply‑chain or demand planning within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented attitude with the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• SAP PP/MM (ERP) knowledge.
• Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) familiarity.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Power BI or Tableau for reporting and analytics.
