Seed Shipment Specialist – Antalya

About the role

Syngenta’s Vegetable R&D team in Antalya is looking for a Seed Shipment Specialist to plan, coordinate and execute compliant, traceable and timely shipments of seeds and biological material. The role ensures shipments meet global standards and local phytosanitary regulations while supporting R&D crop activities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate weekly, monthly and annual shipment schedules in collaboration with breeders and logistics providers.
• Prepare all documentation to satisfy local phytosanitary rules and international import/export requirements.
• Maintain accurate track‑and‑trace records using the MINT system and internal planning tools.
• Identify and resolve shipment discrepancies to minimise impact on research activities.
• Serve as the primary contact for customs brokers, freight forwarders and plant health authorities, arranging inspections and certifications.
• Monitor regulatory changes, budgets and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience in seed or biological material shipment coordination.
• Fluent English communication skills for interaction with international stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of local and international phytosanitary regulations.
