Senior Cost Accounting Executive / Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Cost Accounting Executive / Manager to join the finance team of an international manufacturing company that produces plastic piping systems and infrastructure solutions. The role focuses on monitoring, analyzing, and controlling production costs while driving cost‑performance improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze and control production costs, identify variances against budgets, forecasts and historical data, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead cost‑improvement and operational‑efficiency projects across manufacturing operations.
• Develop and enhance infrastructure to systematically monitor, control and report cost flows across production, inventory, procurement and accounting processes.
• Manage, improve and optimise cost‑accounting structures within the ERP environment and support ERP transformation initiatives.
• Ensure accurate and timely month‑end cost closing activities and drive continuous process improvements.
• Prepare cost‑related forecasts and analyses to support budgeting and planning cycles.
• Develop and present cost reports, analyses and management presentations to senior leadership.
• Support strategic business decisions through detailed financial and cost performance analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 6‑7 years of cost‑accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills and a results‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication, cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proven leadership capabilities and ability to drive initiatives independently.
• Willingness to travel frequently when required.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• ERP systems experience – SAP and/or Logo.
• Power BI and data‑analytics tools (preferred).
• Strong reporting and presentation skills.
