Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the monthly close process, prepare IFRS financial statements and support group reporting. The role collaborates closely with project, sales and finance teams to ensure accurate financial analysis and budgeting.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the monthly hard close and prepare IFRS financial statements.
• Manage trial balance, adjustments, account reconciliations and flux analysis.
• Prepare and submit group reporting using consolidation tools.
• Support cost controlling, margin, cost‑center and profit‑center analysis with project and sales teams.
• Handle IFRS 16 data preparation and submission through Tagetik.
• Develop monthly rolling forecasts and annual budgets via SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Produce ad‑hoc financial analyses and reports as required.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• 5–6 years of audit or financial controlling experience, preferably in an international company; Big 4 experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish GAAP and IFRS; CPA/SMMM qualification a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP, SAP Analytics, SAP BW and SAC.
• Experience with Tagetik for IFRS 16 reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills.
