Senior Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead large‑scale ML and AI projects in the aviation sector. The role focuses on building production‑ready models for business use cases such as customer segmentation, recommendation systems, revenue forecasting and demand prediction.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise ML models for complex business challenges.
• Implement solutions for customer segmentation, recommendation systems and forecasting using Apache Spark/PySpark.
• Perform feature engineering, model training, validation, hyper‑parameter tuning and evaluation.
• Write clean, scalable code and create pipelines for model monitoring and automated retraining.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Platform teams to deploy models in an OpenShift environment.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience in Python and traditional machine‑learning techniques.
• Proficiency with ML libraries such as Scikit‑learn, XGBoost and LightGBM.
• Extensive experience using Apache Spark and PySpark for large‑scale data processing.
• Solid understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning, including classification, regression and clustering.
• Experience delivering production‑ready ML models and supporting monitoring/retraining pipelines.
