Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

About the role

Accenture is hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) in Teknopark Istanbul (Kurtköy). The role focuses on end-to-end test lifecycle management with a strong emphasis on automation and continuous quality, within a hybrid setup of three days in the office per week.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage end-to-end STLC processes with a strong focus on automation and continuous quality.
• Design, architect and implement scalable, maintainable and reusable automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Define automation strategies and quality approaches for complex, multi-service, distributed systems.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure high-quality software deliverables.
• Establish and enforce best practices in software testing and automation.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in software testing and automation technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Experience building test automation structures from scratch with automation tools and frameworks.
• Experience with GenAI tools.
• Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and issue management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies and software engineering fundamentals (clean code, OOP, design patterns, debugging, logging, observability).

Required skills

• Solid programming in at least one of Java, C# or Python.
• Test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright or Cypress.
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI.
• Performance testing with JMeter, Gatling or LoadRunner.
