Smart Start BPS Method Engineer

About the role

As a Smart Start BPS Method Engineer intern, you will support the Bosch Production System (BPS) team in continuous improvement, digitalization, and data‑driven operational excellence activities.

Key responsibilities

• Support the digitalization and continuous improvement of the Improvement Suggestion System.
• Create Power BI dashboards and digital solutions to visualize and track BPS activities and performance.
• Participate in shop‑floor continuous improvement activities, workshops, and BPS projects.
• Assist in developing and maintaining internal digital collaboration and knowledge‑sharing platforms.
• Contribute to AI and LLM‑based solutions that improve knowledge accessibility and efficiency.
• Help improve BPS methods, standards, and ways of working.

Required profile

• 3rd or 4th‑year undergraduate student in Industrial Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong interest in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, digitalization, data analytics, and AI.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn new skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficient in MS Office tools.
• Familiarity with Power BI.
• Basic programming and data analysis knowledge, preferably with SQL and/or Python.
