Direct Purchasing Specialist

About the role

Küçükoğlu Holding is seeking a Direct Purchasing Specialist to manage procurement of key production materials for its automotive parts business. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end supply chain activities, supplier development and cost optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor purchasing of sheet metal, fasteners, plastic components and subcontracted processes such as surface and heat treatments.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships, research new suppliers and ensure a competitive, reliable supply base.
• Conduct market research and price analysis to support strategic sourcing decisions.
• Prepare, track and implement supplier contracts in line with company policies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure supply continuity and efficiency.
• Analyse purchasing data, generate reports and contribute to annual budget planning.
• Coordinate with Supplier Quality to ensure material quality compliance and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Automotive or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience in purchasing processes for metal forming and joining operations within the automotive industry.
• Strong negotiation, communication and analytical skills.
• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SAP or a similar ERP system.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
