Agentic AI Data Scientist – KYC & Wholesale Banking

About the role

ING Wholesale Banking is looking for an Agentic AI Data Scientist to build AI agents that tackle Know Your Customer (KYC) challenges for corporate and institutional banking clients. The role combines agentic AI, machine learning, entity resolution and graph analytics, and works within a cross-functional squad designing, developing, validating and deploying scalable AI solutions. It is based at ING Hubs Türkiye.

Key responsibilities

• Build agentic AI solutions that automate KYC workflows and decision-support processes.
• Develop multi-agent systems using modern orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Google ADK or similar.
• Create document understanding and information extraction solutions.
• Build entity resolution and corporate ownership discovery capabilities.
• Develop network and graph-based analytics for risk and compliance investigations.
• Apply machine learning to complex banking datasets in line with ING's model governance and compliance standards.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, AI or a related field.
• Experience with agentic AI and LLM-based solutions.
• Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Econometrics or a related field; MSc or PhD is a plus.
• Interest in information extraction, entity resolution, graph analytics and network analysis.
• Experience in wholesale banking, KYC, AML, financial crime, model governance or regulated industries is an advantage.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with at least one agent orchestration framework (LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Google ADK, OpenAI Agents SDK or similar).
• Strong Python skills.
• Solid understanding of machine learning techniques, from classical models to modern neural networks.
• Experience applying data science methods to real business problems.
