Bakery & Delicatessen Category Specialist (Project Based)

About the role

Lead day‑to‑day business relationships with key suppliers in the bakery and delicatessen category, supporting contracting, ordering, demand communication and issue resolution. Conduct market research to align product assortment with trends and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain supplier relationships, manage contracts, orders, and resolve issues.
• Conduct regular market research on supplier, product and competitor trends.
• Decide product assortment based on trends and customer expectations.
• Prepare monthly category operation reports and analyze sales performance.
• Provide content for marketing campaigns reaching over 1 million households.
• Coordinate communication between the category team and stores.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Marketing and Logistics to achieve category targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with ability to multitask in a high‑volume environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passion for gastronomy and food.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
